These terms apply when you use the Periodiva app or this website. By using them you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Periodiva.
What Periodiva is
Periodiva helps you track your period and cycle, see predictions and phases, get daily care ideas for each phase, chat with Luna, our AI companion, and share chosen details with people you trust. The app is launching soon on iOS and Android; until then this website offers a waitlist.
Not medical advice, and not contraception
Periodiva gives general information for wellbeing. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition.
- Predictions are estimates. Cycles vary, and predictions can be wrong.
- Don't use Periodiva as contraception or to decide when it is safe to have unprotected sex.
- Don't rely on it to get pregnant or to plan medical decisions.
- Talk to a doctor about anything that worries you, such as very heavy bleeding, severe pain or a missed period. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.
Luna
Luna's replies are generated by AI. They can be incomplete or wrong, and they aren't advice from a doctor, nutritionist or therapist. Use your own judgement, and check anything important with a qualified professional.
Your account
- You must be at least 16 to use Periodiva.
- Give accurate information, keep access to your email secure (we sign you in with codes sent there), and tell us if you think someone else has used your account.
- You're responsible for what happens in your account.
Sharing with supporters
You choose who to connect with and what they can see, and you can pause or disconnect at any time. Only share with people you trust. If you are a supporter, use what's shared with you only to support the person who shared it, and respect their privacy.
Using Periodiva fairly
Please don't:
- misuse, disrupt or try to break into Periodiva or other people's accounts;
- use Periodiva to harass or harm anyone, or to monitor someone without their agreement;
- copy, resell or build on the app or its content without our permission;
- send Luna content that is unlawful or abusive.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
Your content
Your data and what you write (logs, journal entries, messages) stay yours. You allow us to store and process them only to run Periodiva for you, as described in our privacy policy.
Our content
The app, its design, the Periodiva name and logo, and the content we provide belong to Periodiva or our licensors. You may use them only to use Periodiva as intended.
Changes and availability
Periodiva is new and still improving. We may change, add or remove features, and the service may sometimes be unavailable. If we make a significant change to these terms, we'll tell you in the app before it takes effect.
Ending your use
You can stop using Periodiva and delete your account at any time (see the privacy policy for how). We may end access if you break these terms or if we stop offering Periodiva, and we'll give notice where we reasonably can.
Our responsibility
We work hard to make Periodiva accurate and reliable, but we provide it "as is" and can't promise it will always be error-free or available. To the extent the law allows, we aren't responsible for decisions you make based on the app, including about health, fertility or contraception, or for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.
